Holland Trip... Day 10 @ Madurodam
hello again, it's been a while since i last updated this blog. the long-running saga of my trip to holland needs a grand finale, i see... hehe! well, the next few posts will be dedicated to this trip, especially on how it ended. :-)
here's a post on day 10 of our trip. we went to this intriguing place called Madurodam, a "small" (pun intended!) amusement park, where everything is miniaturised. for a more detailed explanation about this place, click here. the following pictures tell a thousand words... so i'll leave you with the visual spectaculars. enjoy!
here's the entrance, with mommy posing.
an interesting signpost, in the middle of water!
oh no, there's a leak in the dam... quick, stop it! err, with a finger??
weather was really cold that day. grandpa was wearing an oversized jacket, courtesy of uncle mike! hehe! well, at least it kept him warm... ;-)
well, so much for the small wonders around me... but i can't miss out on my beauty sleep!! zzz... zzzz....
ahh, nothing like a cosy cafeteria to warm ourselves and fill our tummies. this one had a very ikea-ish look and feel... i like it! :-D
auntie jasmine is never far off with her watchful eye... as always!
slurp! slurp!
a coin minting machine... well, u drop in some money, and out comes a flattened one, with some nice motif minted on it.
isn't this gulliver on one of his travels? ;-)
time to go off now... but auntie jasmine and auntie soo lee can't resist one more pic...
