a lazy saturday afternoon at grandma's...

spending the weekend at gramp's house is really good. apart from getting lots of attention from both grandpa and grandma as well as my aunts, i also get to laze around and sleep the day away. here i am, yawning away in grandma's arms. she seems intrigued by my antics though... hehehe! not a very nice way to repay them for their undividing attention, i know... but i can't help it! i keep getting forty winks, especially on lazy, warm afternoons.

that's why whenever i'm awake even for the shortest of times, someone will be there to sweep me up and play with me. as you can see, auntie soo lee is so pleased to find me in a good mood today... :)

let's go for a ride!!

wee!! finally get to travel with mommy and daddy! they always make sure i am strapped up safely in my own personal seat. according to daddy, i'm like an astronaut strapped up for take-off!! mommy calls it The Emperor's Chair... i wonder why? hmm, could it be becoz it takes up the entire front passenger seat of the car, ALL the time? hehehe! not that i can do anything about it... ;)

this beautiful car seat was gifted to me courtesy of my 3rd aunt... thks a bunch, Auntie Sue!! love it, especially the red covers! the grey blends in well with the car interiors too!! :D

...while i was sleeping...

nothing is quite as satisfying as a good sleep!! and i'm getting lots of that, thankfully! daddy caught me in some cute positions while i was asleep... hehehe!

as you can see from the shots above, my favourite position is with my arms up high... i still sleep this way, you know... ;)

eh, how come i've changed directions? instead of sleeping length-wise, i've somehow rotated 90deg to go along the width of the bed. hehe! you don't know what a good dream can do!! ;)

my morning look

good morning! these are shots taken of me in the morning. i'm usually up quite early, around 6-something a.m. not too sure daddy and mommy are thrilled to see (and hear!) me so early in the morning. hehe!

see how happy i am to see mommy's and daddy's faces the first thing in the morning. :-)

you know, those blue sheets really come in handy. mommy will make sure i lie on one before she puts me on the bed. apart from keeping me clean, it also prevents the milky stuff i throw up (only occasionally!) from staining the bedsheets. also, i sometimes soil the sheets when mommy changes me... *ahem*... but again, this only happens occasionally... *blush* hehehe!

i'm 2 months old now...

wahh, time really does fly... i'm already 2 months old! below are some shots my daddy took of me on dec03, exactly 2 months after i was born. don't i just look adorable? hehe! daddy says i look so different to when i was just a newborn. luckily he built this blog for me, otherwise it'll be hard to compare how different i look from newborn till now. :-)






ps: don't i just look hunky in that tight body-suit? it's a gift from uncle ivan... thks, uncle ivan!! but it's a bit too tight now... any other gifts for me?? *giggle*

my first haircut...

sighh... finally the time came for me to get a haircut. mommy said my hair was getting too long, and i may get rashes on my neck if i don't get a haircut. so, armed with a sharp pair of scissors, mommy and grandma went to work, gingerly trimming away my hair.


i was wriggling in protest of course, so mommy had to pacify me by feeding me with some milk. i must say it worked in calming me down! :D

presents... lots of presents... :D

wahh, you know i've been such a lucky boy. as far as i can remember, i've been receiving gifts ever so often... and they still keep coming!! the beautiful flowers u see here are from my aunt phoebe... really helped to brighten the otherwise drab and dreary hospital room.





the hampers (right) came from guests who attended my fullmoon bash. thks everyone, who contributed to all my presents. when i grow up next time, i will treat you all to dinner... :D

my grandpa and grandmas also gave me presents. i like these, coz they shine and look very nice!! mommy says they're worth a lot of money. my my, gramps sure love me a lot to spend so much money on me. :D not that i'm complaining... hehehe!

my aunties also bought me those shiny stuff... thks aunties!! but i don't think i'll be wearing them just yet. wait till i'm older. :)

these are friends of my mommies... they're her work colleagues. real sweet aunties... brought joy and laughter to our house, also some gifts too, i believe. :)

that's cousin valerie auntie angie's carrying. she can't keep her eyes off me... hehe!

auntie june seems very professional in handling me. she'll be alright when she has her own kid in future, i'm sure. don't wait too long, auntie june! i want a lots of friends to grow up together with me! :D


there's auntie angie with uncle paul. auntie angie is normally highly vocal (usually becoz too excited to see me!!)... but somehow seems rather subdued here. must be on her best behaviour under uncle paul's strict supervision... hahaha! :D

every morning, when i wake up, the first faces that i see are my mommy and daddy... and i'm sure they are as pleased to see me as i am to see them! and best of all, my daddy is ever ready with his camera... these here are some more nice shots of me!! enjoy them! i'll be back with more... :D

uncle boon and auntie joyce...

this is my uncle boon and auntie joyce. he comes over to visit me once in a while. unc boon is a real busy man, travels up north and down south all the time... must be doing very well in his biz. he drives a very fast car too. :-)


auntie joyce is mommy's twin sister... they sure look alike, maan! they even sound alike too!! sometimes, i get confused over who's my real mommy... kiddin'!! i can tell who's my real mom with my nose... :D

sleepyhead...

ahh, being a baby is sooo good... all i ever do is eat, sleep, eat, sleep, and poo... hehehe! see, how peaceful i look when i'm in dreamland... zzz... zzzz...

mommy takes immaculate care of me, esp after feedings... she will ensure that i burp well, and am comfortable at all times. i really enjoy sleeping on mommy's shoulders... gives me a warm and secure feeling. daddy does it too, but not as well as mommy... ;) look at how proud she is of me... she may be smiling now, but when i grow older (and heavier!) she won't be all that happy to hold me for hours like this! hehe!

even when asleep, i still keep my hair tidy... noticed it?? :-)

this rocker that i'm sleeping on is a real classic... a hand-me-down from my grand-uncle. it's even older than my daddy, you know... hard to find one like this nowadays. and it's REALLY comfy...
