my first angpow...

firstly, a belated happy chinese new year to all! daddy's been a bit slow to upload photos from his camera. here are some nice pics of me during the recent festive season...

here's me holding a nice angpow from grandma! :D i got lots of those red packets this year, you know... gonna be rich! hahahaha!

morning of "chor yat" (i.e. first day of cny), i went to church with daddy and mommy for sunday mass. even the church is in festive mood, with lots of red decos adorning the walls and ceilings.

back home at gong-gong's house after church, to wish everyone at home "gong xi fa cai" and to get my angpows!! hehehehe! you can't wipe that grin off my face, i tell you... really excited!!

mommy made that nice lantern out of red packets... mommy is so talented, and i'm proud of her!! now, everyone knows about it, and wants to "order" one from her for next year's celebration! hahaha!
don't i look good in that checkered shirt? it's a present from auntie soh hwa, mommy's cousin from USA. it came with a jumper suit too, but the weather's a bit too warm for that. it will hafta wait for a more suitable occasion... don't worry, i'll pose a picture of it when i do don the suit. :D

ahh, after all the photo session, both mommy and i can finally change to something more comfortable and cooler. that checkered shirt is very thick and warm, you know. quality stuff... oh yeah!!! :)

hi! this is me right after a refreshing bath! daddy took these shots while mommy was towelling me down. i love the bath, but not the hairwash! i'd scream my head off when daddy starts wetting my hair and applying shampoo... what a terribly uncomfortable feeling!

now that i'm nice and dry, the feeling is good... ahhhhh...
*slurp slurp* uhh, the towel tastes funny though...

pacifier?? no need...

mommy and daddy tried to introduce the pacifier to me earlier on, but i never caught on to it. who needs a pacifier when fingers taste and feel much better?! hehehe! here's my favourite pastime, muching on my own fingers. grandpa says it's like i'm feasting on a chicken drumstick! hahaha!

yumchar, gong-gong & po-po!!

spending my saturday morning with grandpa and grandma, having dimsum for breakfast at marco polo restaurant. they say i can't eat anything served yet (same ol' excuse every time!), but i hope to do that very soon.

gong-gong was always saying, "isaac, when will you be able to go yumchar with gong-gong?"... and it's already happening now! hehe! thanks for a lovely time, grandpa and grandma!!
